If so, consider hosting a vendor/sponsor booth at our upcoming conference in September! To register click HERE . We are a PINNACLE AWARD WINNER! "WDOC ReEntry Partnership." In Wyoming, 95 percent of inmates are released back to into society. The state council partnered with the Wyoming Department of Corrections' (WDOC) ReEntry Program to assist inmates in developing the necessary skills to find employment once they are released. The council became involved with the resource fair for inmates that the WDOC holds every 18 months at each prison across the state. The event is similar to a job fair and includes community providers and other organizations that can provide assistance to formerly incarcerated individuals. During the last 12 months, the council attended fairs at four prisons and talked to more than 300 inmates who are within one year of release. It also prepared information on job seeking, such as interviewing tips, resumes and how to talk to employers about criminal convictions. We are so proud of Brenda Reedy and our State Council!
